The Kenmore 9990 Refrigerator Water Filter is a replacement water filter built for select Kenmore side-by-side, bottom-freezer, and top-freezer refrigerators using the 9990 filter code. NSF 42 and 53 certified to reduce lead, cysts, chlorine taste and odor, and common contaminants, it delivers clean, fresh-tasting water and ice for up to 6 months after installation. Cross-compatible with LG refrigerators using the LT600P filter code, the 9990 covers a wider range of compatible units than most standard Kenmore filter codes. Check the part number on the existing filter before ordering to confirm the 9990 is the correct replacement for the specific unit.

Key Features
NSF 42 and 53 Certified: Independently tested to reduce lead, cysts, chlorine taste and odor, and sediment -- covering both aesthetic and health-related contaminant categories.
LG LT600P Cross-Compatibility: Functionally equivalent to the LG LT600P filter, fitting compatible LG-made Kenmore models as well as standard Kenmore side-by-side, bottom-freezer, and top-freezer refrigerators.
Slide-and-Twist Installation: Unique installation design specific to the 9990 housing -- slide the filter in and twist clockwise to lock. Not interchangeable with push-in or push-button eject Kenmore filter housings.
White with Blue Cap Design: The distinctive blue cap makes the 9990 easy to identify at replacement time and confirms correct filter orientation during installation.
2.5 Gallon Flush Requirement: After installation, flush 2.5 gallons through the dispenser before drinking to clear air pockets and carbon fines from the new filter.
6 Month or 200 to 300 Gallon Service Life: Replace every 6 months or when water flow slows noticeably, whichever comes first.
Replace the Kenmore 9990 refrigerator water filter every 6 months for consistently clean, fresh-tasting water and ice from your refrigerator dispenser.

Simple, easy to get-- dnt have to think about ordering it
I was glad I was able to get the water filter replacement since my Kenmore refrigerator is 20 years old and still working great. Fast shipping and packed well. Thank you!
I was hesitant at first, but was assured when I received my filters that they were the real deal. Thank you so much. My Kenmore elite refrigerator is happy, too.
I was very happy getting the water filter that I needed, since Sears no longer will supply it. It's nice to know that they are still available with you. Thank you.
Previously had a subscription through Kenmore Parts Direct to have the fridge filter delivered every six months. When that delivery stopped, I learned that these filters are no longer being made. Bought a three pack from PrecipFilter. These appear to be OEM filters and fit perfectly.
Hard to find these old Kenmore relics in brick and mortar stores. This one was exactly the same as I used to buy at my Sears store--and a little cheaper.
Ordering the new filter was very easy and I received it very quickly! And. It is easy to install. I will definitely order my next filter from PrecipFilter!!
